Predictive Algorithm for Student Success

is an app that uses a predictive algorithm to determine student success for re-taking courses in high school.

Administrators are provided a percent recommendation that students would be successful in re-taking a course in regular programming.

Based on that percent success rate, a final decision is made in collaboration with teachers, student services and parents after being informed by the predictive algorithm.

WHY?

Administrators have a lot of decisions they need to make that impact teaching, learning and students.                      will support administrators in their decision-making process to ensure students are successful as a result of that decision. Policies may be in place for high school students that fail courses, however, one size does not fit all. There are many contributors to why a student may or not be successful when re-taking a course.
